1. Go to section Layout
2. Click on the 'edit' button of the blog post widget
3. Now only check off the following 4 options in this widget:
- post date
- comments
- labels
- share buttons
All other boxes need to be empty/un-checked!

>>> CHANGING THE NUMBER OF POSTS PER PAGE
1. Go to section Layout and open the Blog Posts widget
2. Change the number to a number of choice in "Number of posts on main page" (the demo blog shows 2 posts per page)
>>> POST DATE CHANGES
1. Go to section Layout and open the Blog Posts widget
2. Changing the look of the date is the first option under Post Page Options
3. Save the changes
>>> THE COMMENT SECTION & COMMENT COUNT
The number of comments on a post is displayed in the post footer. Due to the coding of the template, your comment section is set and styled primarily to support Blogger comments.
Using a third-party comment option like Google+ comments might disrupt the comment counter. If that happens, please follow the instructions on the FAQS & TROUBLESHOOTING page (scroll down to ">>> THE COMMENT COUNT IN THE BLOG POST FOOTER IS NOT WORKING").
Using Disqus comments is not recommended since the Disqus widget disrupts the footer code, causing the comment counter to disappear completely from the post footer
>>> STARTING A NEW BLOG POST
1. Go to section Posts
2. Click on the orange button saying ‘New post’
3. Add your post title in the title banner
4. And write the rest of your post
5. Once ready, click the orange ‘publish’ button to make your post appear on the blog
>>> ADDING A JUMP-BREAK/READ MORE BUTTON TO YOUR POST
The read more button will only show up when you insert it in a post. It is NOT automated. Put the cursor on the position in your post where you want the read more button to appear. Then click on the little jump-break icon. The read more button will show up once the post is published.
>>> UPLOADING AN IMAGE TO A POST
1. Put your cursor on the spot in the post where you want an image to appear
2. Now click the little image icon
3. Make sure to upload images directly from your computer! If you upload them directly from the internet, they will not show correctly in the popular post widget!
4. Once the image is uploaded into the post, hover over it with your mouse and you will see options appear for the size
5. If you want the image to be as wide as the post area, make sure your images are at least 700 pixels wide and then select ‘original size’ – the image will now spread itself out between the left and right side of the post
>>> ADDING LABELS TO YOUR BLOG POST
To activate the related post gadget underneath your posts and the blog categories tab in your menubar, you need to add labels to your posts. This is how you do it:
1. When writing your post, you will find the label option on the right side of the screen
2. Type in some keywords that describe your post and separate them with a comma
3. Then click ‘done’
4. Once your post is published, the labels will show up in the post footer
3. Then click ‘done’
4. Once your post is published, the labels will show up in the post footer
>>> PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE BUTTONS IN YOUR BLOG POST
Your template is a premade one where the font styles and sizes are set in the coding. Therefore please refrain from using the font style and size buttons when writing a post. Using them will create a very messy looking blog post!
